Earlier this year we shared with you how a wounded veteran's journey does not end once they return home. Upon returning to home soil, many struggle to secure housing or face financial woes, all while overcoming the challenges of their wounds. It is with great pride that Rocky Top Log Furniture & Railing has worked with Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors to furnish a retreat home where these brave men and women can gather with their families in a peaceful and
encouraging environment to deal with these obstacles.
Last weekend our owners, Tommy and Gwen Mitchell, traveled to Bluemont, Virginia to deliver the retreat's brand-new log furniture. The furniture was custom-designed and lovingly-crafted by the Mitchells, who were humbled to honor these heroes and their families.
