Here at Rocky Top, we take great care to not only build your heirloom-quality log furniture but also to get it safely to your home or place of business. Here's a quick overview of how our shipping processes work. For more information, don't hesitate to give us a call at 1-800-332-1143!



A majority of our furniture is pre-assembled prior to shipping. To mention a few, we pre-assemble headboards and footboards for beds, seats and backs for chairs and rockers, table tops, and even our railing sections. This is for your convenience and to save you time.
Rocky Top takes great pride to be sure your items are packaged well before shipment. In taking these extra pre-cautions, we help to ensure the safest delivery possible for your furniture and/or railing. When your order has been shipped you will be called so that you can make the proper arrangements for your delivery.
A majority of our items will ship via freight carrier. Due to the volume of shipping that we do annually and the fact our shipping is freight collect, Rocky Top receives a substantial discount with our shipping carrier. This discount will then be passed on to you, insuring you the lowest shipping rates possible.
There are two different options when it comes to shipping your order, with Option 1 offering the greatest discount:


Option 1

Place of Business in a Commercial Area OR to the Nearest Shipping Terminal
Shipping to either of these locations will save you money. If going to a terminal nearest you, the shipping company will call to let you know that it has arrived. It is the customer's responsibility to make arrangements to pick up the order in an appropriate time frame.
Note: A business in a home is not considered a Place of Business in a Commercial Area.

Option 2

Residential
Shipping your item to a home in a residential area. In this option, the shipping company will call you to set up an appointment for your residential delivery. The freight company has an additional charge for a residential delivery.

IMPORTANT

Upon receiving your order, it is very important that you inspect all furniture and/or railing for any possible damages or missing items. If you do notice that something is damaged or missing, this MUST be noted on your delivery receipt. If this should happen, please contact Rocky Top immediately and we will take all necessary steps to insure that your product will be redelivered as soon as possible.
